School Social Worker/Clinician Country

About our School: 
Country Club Hills Tech and Trade Center, a Special Education Services school and an affiliate of The Menta Group®, is a K-12 therapeutic day school for special education students. Classrooms are designed to be active learning environments where young people have the opportunity to experience educational and behavioral success on a regular basis. The high school curriculum is intended to aid students in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to become eligible for post-secondary education and/or employment.

As a School Social Worker our Country Club Hills Tech & Trade Center, you will: 
  • Provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students.
  • Employ data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments and behavioral approaches.
  • Build leadership to effectively help students succeed.
  • Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions
  • Monitor student progress and evaluations, program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
  • One of the following Licenses/Certifications:
  • Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate)
  • Or Certified School Psychologist (IL PEL Certificate)
  • Or MSW with IL LSW
  • Or LCSW 
Skills: 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
  • Creative thinker who can develop a wide range of interventions meeting the needs of a diverse student population
  • Excellent communicator
  • Some travel to other Menta locations may be necessary at times
