Sr. Market Analyst - Analytics

Under the direction and supervision of the Director – Marketing, the Sr. Market Analyst – Analytics will lead the marketing group in providing detailed analyses and insights that enable the business to quantify, prioritize and capture opportunities in the Residential Home Standby generator market. In addition, the Sr. Market Analyst will work closely with the Channel Marketing team on marketing analytics projects with a focus on evaluating effectiveness of programs and advertising campaigns. 
An ideal candidate is well versed in marketing, statistics, programming, and have a solid business acumen.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Impact business results using knowledge of analytical methods, leveraging business experience, and demonstrated ability to transform complex analyses into a simple, yet compelling story.
  • Create, support and maintain territory size/share and opportunity models to aid the sales and marketing organizations with the implementation tracking of marketing programs and advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with partners across the organization to develop the appropriate infrastructure (people, process, data, technology) to support the reporting and analytics process.
  • Support leadership on projects related to channel marketing, product development, pricing, and market research.
Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Course work in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business Administration/Management, and Accounting.
  • Prefer 3-4 years of related experience.
  • Must possess a keen analytical mind, strong on planning, detail and accuracy, while demonstrating creativity and idea-orientation.
  • Experience with analytical and visualization tools, such as PowerBI, Alteryx and Tableau required.
  • Experience in forecasting and market research techniques: Statistical Analysis, Time-series modelling and forecasting, Regression, Clustering and other techniques.
  • Experience in one or more modeling platforms/languages, such as R, Python required.
  • Requires strong written and oral communicative skills.
  • Demonstrates high proficiency with standard business and database software (Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint).
