SolidWorks Designer / 3 D Modeler
We are a silicon valley based company looking for entry / mid-level Solid works consultants for various locations across USA.
The candidate will be responsible to review the drawings, prepare the 3 D model using SolidWorks / Autocad, design the fixture for the project according to the need, prepare manufacturing schedules, estimate the material requirement.
As a Solidworks Designer, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of mechanical engineers and other designers, have a hand in growing an already established safety company, and utilize creative methods for solving problems.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Responsible for producing working drawings of designs created in SolidWorks for sheet metal components, machined components and SolidWorks assemblies utilizing technical drawing standards.
- Design of components and assemblies using SolidWorks as CAD platform and PDM Professional for database and files management.
- Preparing proper bills of material based on design and ordering necessary unit(s) for assembly through ERP system.
Successful candidate will have:
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge with SolidWorks and 3D modeling
- Knowledge in sheet metal and structural components
Our SolidWorks team will provide necessary knowledge and guidance for 3 to 4 weeks before on-boarding on the position.
