PT Recreational Therapist | Brookline Recreation (Town of Brookline Recreation)

The Town of Brookline is seeking a PT Recreational Therapist to support our Therapeutic Recreation Division. Under the general direction of the Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, this Therapist will assist with administrative tasks related to Special Olympic and Therapeutic Recreational programming for children, teens, and adults with various intellectual and/or physical abilities. Assists with planning and facilitating programs, trainings, and other recreation services. Assists with communication and marketing for programs, events, and trainings as needed. Drives 12-passenger van and 15-passenger mini-bus for programs as needed.

Works no more than 18.75 hours per week. Actively or graduated from an accredited college/university program with equivalent to two years or more of college at the time of application enrollment in a degree program related to field. 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities. Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License is required. Therapeutic Recreation Certification preferred. Starting Salary $15.50/hr. Positions open until filled.
