Revenue Innovation Spring 2020 Internship

The Revenue Innovation Intern will work closely with the Revenue Innovation team and help support our new fundraising initiative we are launching called Chefs Relay for No Kid Hungry. Chefs Relay is our inaugural running event taking place this spring in Shenandoah Valley.
Duties and Responsibilities
  •  Maintain participant database for Chefs Relay
  • Create Chefs Relay pre-event briefings for executive team and internal staff
  • Respond to inquiries via email and social media for fundraising events and initiatives
  • Conduct extensive research to identify additional opportunities to engage our chef network and their supporters, social media presence and statistics for our chef network, and other similar cause related events and their growth trajectory
  • Support participating chefs with their fundraising efforts, to include individual or team fundraising page updates and donation requests
  • Support runner fundraising events, mailing swag, keeping a calendar, and creating and organizing a photo gallery
  • Assist in updating Chefs Relay sponsorship outreach materials
  • Other duties may be assigned
Required Skills
  •  Currently enrolled in (or recent graduate of) a degree program
  • Organized, self-motivated, and flexible.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Outstanding oral communications skills required.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills, and social media savvy.
  • Excellent and proven research skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
