2020 Internships (Paid and Unpaid Positions) – Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area

ABPA, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and U.S. Department of Defense Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), and more, are excited to announce an exclusive set of internships are available immediately for Summer & Fall 2020 in Washington D.C. and other major cities. All majors are accepted and encouraged to apply.

ABPA ensures full representation of women and participation from Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), or other schools with diverse student populations to include African Americans, Asians, Pacific Islanders and Native Americans, Hispanics, Veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Requirements:
The ideal candidate shall be:

  1. A student that is not currently a Federal employee.
  2. Students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university. Undergraduate is defined as an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program.
  3. Recent student graduates from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited Minority Serving Institution (MSI) college or other university. To qualify as a recent graduate, the student’s official graduation date cannot exceed six (6) months prior to before the start date of the internship period.
  4. Each candidate shall possess at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

  1. A copy of your resume following particular criteria 
  2. A copy of your transcripts - Unofficial copies accepted but should clearly display the applicant's first and last name, and school logo (PDF Format)
  3. Cover Letter (Explain your strengths and what you are looking for)
