Staff Accountant
Overview

Responsibilities
The person in this position will assist with the accounts payable process, client billing, expense reporting, and various other financial reporting projects. Qualified candidates should be comfortable working in a team-oriented, open office environment. Intra-department deliverables are due to multiple points of contact, putting an emphasis on strong interpersonal skills. A proficient level of skill in Excel is expected, as the vast majority of reports will be prepared in Excel. Additionally, the candidate should be adept at learning new technologies, specifically Concur and Sage, if prior experience is not applicable.
- Payables Cycle Management – manage approval process
- Create expense reports and reconcile credit card statements
- Assist with document preparation for annual financial statement audit
- Ad hoc financial reporting projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a field requiring strong analytical and quantitative skills such as Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university or relevant industry related experience
- Experience using MS Office products
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of staff
