TAX AUDITORS

The Department of Revenue will be filling multiple auditor vacancies starting on May 26, 2020. 
 
Return Auditors examine tax returns, acquire additional information and prepare audit work papers and reports. Positions are located in Madison.

Books & Records Auditors conduct audits of individuals and a variety of business entities independently and may assist higher level auditors in performing large, complex audits. Most audits are initiated and conducted at the taxpayer’s business location. These positions require some overnight travel. Positions are located throughout Wisconsin as well as Glen Ellyn, IL and Edina, MN.
 
Qualified applicants will have a four-year or advanced degree with a major in accounting or equivalent professional experience.
