HR Assistant
Role Summary: The HR Assistant is a brand new position, with the goal of providing additional support to the HR team. This position will assist in the administrative functions for our HR team, with the opportunity to grow/take on additional responsibilities.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Benefit invoice reconciliation/audits as assigned
- New hire processing
- End of employment processing
- Compensation system maintenance and entries
- COBRA notifications and enrollments
- Responsible for HR document maintenance and posting
- Answer questions that are sent to the general HR email inbox
- NMLS maintenance and processing
- Update employee profiles on ADP
- Assist in troubleshooting with vendors
- Calculate debt to income ratios
- Conduct employment verifications
- Assist in updating weekly company newsletter
- Update HR content on company SharePoint
- Provide backup support to HR Generalist and VP of HR & Development as needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in programs such as Word, Excel, and OneDrive
- Experience with ADP human resource management/payroll software
- Strong attention to detail
Preferences:
- Associates Degree in Business or Human Resources
- 1 to 2 years in Human Resources/Payroll Position
Your Team:
This position will report to the VP of HR & Development. You will most closely work with our HR Generalist and VP of HR & Development in this role.
This team consists of the following team members:
- 1 HR Generalist
- 2 Training Specialists
- 1 Training Generalist
- 1 Director of Training & Development
