Information Security Internship
Internships are short-term work experiences for a designated period of time that allow college students the opportunity to observe and participate in the professional work environment, to explore how his/her interests relate to possible careers, and to gain practical experience in an industry relating to their field of study.
Our Program:
· Provides students with an inside view of the financial services and insurance industries.
· Facilitates the acquisition of valuable skills (i.e. communication, personal effectiveness, presentation, creative problem solving, influencing, etc.) and knowledge related to a student’s field of study or related occupations.
· Enables the development of professional connections and networking.
· Creates opportunities to learn about the Company mission and core values which are foundational to our organizational culture.
Responsibilities:
· Provide support to their respective work area: help with metrics, dashboards, etc.
· Complete a variety of tasks and projects designed to increase understanding of a specific profession, occupation, or body of knowledge.
· Attend Intern Programs and participate in Build Your Network Programs.
Qualifications:
· To qualify for internship, applicants must be currently enrolled full-time at a college or university pursuing a specific degree program. Internships are not available for students who have completed their college education or who will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.
· Strong written & verbal communications communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Detailed-oriented
· Reliable, dependable
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior experience with security assessment activity; metrics, dashboards, etc.
