Development Director | YSS

Reporting to the VP of Philanthropy and Community Engagement, and part of the Community Engagement Team, the Development Director is responsible for private fundraising and securing of resources to support YSS’s mission. The Development Director specializes in annual giving and major gift solicitation. The role is responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive annual and major gift development program with an emphasis on the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and securing of major and planned gifts.

A Bachelor’s degree in a professional fundraising or related field along with four years of related experience is required.

A strong background in fundraising, especially as it relates to planned giving and major gifts, is preferred.
