Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist
Help Us. Help Others. Are you looking for a job where you can make a difference? Children’s Home Society in Sioux Falls, SD is currently seeking a Full-Time Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist.
What You'll Do:
Your responsibilities as a Full-Time Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist would include:
- Process payroll bi-weekly.
- Maintain payroll records within the payroll system.
- Prepare and review payroll tax reports and year end filings.
- Prepare and maintain reports for the annual profit sharing audit and workers compensation audits.
- Oversee quarterly and year-end tax reporting requirements.
- Calculate monthly and year end accruals.
- Generate standard and ad-hoc reports as requested.
- Process and review invoice entry.
- Answer questions for vendors and staff expense accounts.
- Manage all Agency store accounts and cards.
- Prepare general ledger entries.
- Assist with year-end tax filings as assigned.
- Participate in required training.
- Other duties as assigned.

Schedule: M-F, 8am-4:30pm.
Experience/Education/Skills: Bachelor’s Degree, prefer in Accounting. Previous accounting and payroll experience preferred. Must be competent in utilization of Microsoft Office products.
Compensation: $18.00/hr + experience.
