Staffing Specialist

Snelling Staffing Services is looking to add a Staffing Specialist to our Honolulu, HI location. Snelling Staffing Services is a full service-staffing firm, providing Temporary, Temp-To-Hire and Direct Hire services in the office services area of the staffing industry, enabling us to provide our client companies with a truly blended and superior recruiting service.

The primary focus of the Staffing Specialist is to identify, recruit, interview, assess, hire, orientate, and place field employees with client companies.

Staffing Specialist Job Duties:
·    Write and post job descriptions on job boards
·    Optimize job postings for best possible results
·    Review resumes to determine skill match to job opening
·    Perform telephone screening/phone interviews
·    Schedule and conduct in person interviews
·    Evaluate, assess and make hiring decisions
·    Communicate with client companies to gather information about job orders
·    Identify candidates for open job orders, contact candidates to present opportunities to them and present them to the client
·    Conduct ongoing quality checks with clients regarding assigned employee performance
·    Actively work to resolve any employee or client issues as they present themselves

Staffing Specialist Job Requirements:
·    Previous experience in Human Resources or Recruiting
·    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·    Attention to detail and accuracy
·    Strong organizational skills
·    Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently

Staffing Specialist Skills Needed:
·    Work independently and as part of a team
·    Exposure to HRIS systems
·    Experience posting jobs on job boards
·    Ability to type 55 words per minute
·    Excellent communication skills
·    Previous relevant work experience
·    Basic Microsoft Word and Excel
