Community Engagement Internship - Summer 2020

Pittsburgh CLO’s Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for interns to get “hands-on” experience by working closely with Pittsburgh CLO production and administrative staff. Pittsburgh CLO Internships are unpaid, however, interns are provided with a $100 stipend per contracted work week to help offset expenses. Participation in the Pittsburgh CLO Internship Program may result in college credits (check with your advisor) and has influenced many to pursue their interests professionally.
 Administrative interns may be asked to work evenings or weekends as needed. Applications will be accepted until March 1, or until all positions are filled. Applications received after March 1 will be reviewed at the discretion of the hiring department.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Provides support to the Director of Community Engagement and overall organization goals as needed, and perform duties which include but are not limited to the following: assisting with events, outings, presentations, and projects for cultivating new partnerships and audiences, support for basic office operations, set-up and tear down of events, processing and organizing new contacts, research and assessment, brainstorming, and documentation. Should demonstrate strong communication, public relations, presentation, organizational, writing, computer, crowd control, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills. Experience in photography, video, editing, and working with the public is a plus.
