Nuclear Medicine Technologist
SUMMARY
As a Nuclear Medical Technologist, you play an important part in high quality nuclear medicine procedures needed to deliver quality care to our patients.
The Northern Heights Imaging Center provides state-of-the-art imaging and radiology services, including CT Scans, Cardiac PET scans, and Interventional Radiology in an outpatient setting. Nuclear Medicine/Cardiac PET technologists will work on the newest equipment, providing care to oncology and cardiology patients.This position will work within a modern, welcoming facility that has free parking, right outside of the suite.

LOCATION: Imaging Center-Northern Heights
DEPARTMENT: Imaging
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; Days; No on-call requirements
ATTRIBUTES
- Compassionate, warm and patient focused
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Prior PET experience in both cardiac and oncology preferred
- Prior CT experience is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Equipment Operation. Perform a variety of diagnostic exams and quality assurance procedures; ensures that nuclear imaging equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Patient Care. Maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients throughout the area; educate patients regarding their procedure and maintain a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for the patient throughout the exam
- Documentation. Maintains clear documentation within radiopharmacy information systems
