Purposes:
This investment accountant position is integral to our team of investment professionals and support staff. This position is an entry level professional accounting position in which the incumbent applies accounting principles in working with specialized accounting records and reports and is responsible for assisting in the day to day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and in preparing basic financial reports.
Location: Investment Securities Department, Ensign Peak Advisors
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include:
- Reconciliation of investment-related accounts.
- Monitoring of trade and portfolio compliance.
- Assist in ensuring that accounting information and financial reporting are timely and accurate.
- Special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or Finance or Business Management) is required.
- No post graduate professional accounting experience is required for this position.
- Incumbents must demonstrate a well-grounded knowledge of financial and accounting theory.
- Ability to work in a professional manner within the accounting and analysis team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Worthiness Qualification:
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
