Program description:
Outback is a wilderness program for troubled teens that blends the best of primitive wilderness living with adventure experiences to offer clients character building opportunities. Our strengths-based approach invites the best from students by helping them to see their own greatness. Outback is the ONLY wilderness program in the United States that has therapists living beside the clients on a daily basis. This difference allows therapy to ascend from traditional ‘debrief style’ therapy done in a stale setting once a week for 50 minutes to an in-vivo experiential therapy done every day when a client is in the moment of need.
