Design Consultant/Project Manager - Entry Level

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Design Consultant/ Project Manager is responsible for designing the best customer service that fits each customer’s needs and budget while ensuring superb customer service.
We are looking for a resourceful, highly personable individual who can create relationships. You will be the face of the company and will work to build relationships with our clientele and promote growth across our market.

This position is a perfect career for those who like to have the flexibility to travel in the winter or prefer to work remotely in the winter/spring.

During the summer, you can spend time outside by the lake/dock meeting with lake homeowners interested in our SCUBA lake weed removal services. You will build and maintain new and existing clients, understand their needs, provide information on our services, and close sales. Additionally, you will work alongside the sales and operations team to help ensure each client is receiving the quality service Waterfront Restoration prides itself on.

During the fall, you will be responsible for meeting with homeowners and forming new relationships. You will design custom holiday light proposals based on each homeowner's specific needs, present the proposal, and manage the project through its start.
You can either work remotely or in the office during the winter months (January-April), providing written bids for the upcoming summer season.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (% breakdown):
  • 60% = Outdoor sales - Meet prospects at their home and or lake home and build rapport, create proposals, and present a proposal. During the Fall and early Winter, meet with prospects in person and via zoom to provide consultations on holiday lighting.
  • 20% = Indoor sales - Communicate with clients over the phone, Zoom, and email about their project. Then, create a proposal for them based on your conversations.
  • 10% = Project Management - Ensure customers' projects are fully managed via updated work order notes, data entry, and protocol development.
  • 10% = Customer relationship management, training staff, and networking - Assist the sales and marketing team in maintaining customer retention and satisfaction through calling, emailing, and asking for referrals—a limited amount of cold calling.

Requirements

*Your own vehicle is required to drive to prospects' homes.
*Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
*Prior sale​s experience is a plus. Must be comfortable working in a face-to-face sales environment.
*Past job references required.
