Internship - Construction Materials

Certified Testing Services, Inc. (CTS) is seeking candidates for internship in our Construction Materials division at our Sioux City, Iowa, office. Join our team to further your understanding of geotechnical engineering/materials testing and gain excellent work experience!

 

·        Candidates will be overseen and trained by CTS’s highly experienced materials testing staff to further the candidates understanding and knowledge of the practical side of materials testing

·        Licensed geotechnical engineers will be available for further development and mentoring

·        Training including construction site safety, nuclear density gauge, materials field/laboratory test training, and others as needed

·        Communicate with clients to provide results and provide problem solving

·        Compile and submit standard test data reports

·        Company vehicle will be provided for use as needed

·        All work will be in the tri-state area based out of our Sioux City, Iowa, home office

 

·        High school diploma or equivalent

·        Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

·        Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

·        Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required
