Financial Planning & Analyst Intern
We are recruiting a Financial Planning & Analyst intern looking to gain valuable work experience
with a an emerging brand: WESTxEAST. You will work closely with the Co-Founders and learn
from their creative direction and overall business operations. It’s an opportunity to enhance your
portfolio and gain hands on experience with a fashion start-up.
Position Requirements:
1. Pursuing a Finance or Accounting Degree
2. Strong mathematical skills
3. Detailed oriented
4. Taken accounting and finance classes
5. Bookkeeping experience
6. Interested in working with a startup
Job Duties and Tasks Include but are NOT limited to:
- You will work in a creative environment, while still being able to take creative direction from the co-founders to work on a Pitch Deck that will be presented to investors
- Heavily involved in creating financial projections, tracking sales/revenue, using QuickBooks and helping with online transactions
Additional Information:
This is a School Credit opportunity
Must commit 10-15 hours per week
Must have a laptop
Due to the current global situation, interns can work remotely. Once everything returns to normal, hopefully sometime in May/June 2020, interns are expected to be able to work in NYC area, specifically in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn co-working space at A/D/O.
