Experienced Research and Development IOT Device Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled cross-discipline technologist/engineer to develop and enable our next generation Internet of Things (IOT) devices to drive personalized consumer experiences. We are looking for someone with an interest and mastery to create a new-to-the-world product experience for consumers. As part of our team, you will participate in the design and development of leading-edge consumer devices to build new business opportunities. Innovative dispensing engines, advanced sensor technologies, cloud-based connectivity, and edge-based machine learning are in scope. The Smart & Connected Products Platform team is a Corporate Function R&D organization co-located in Cincinnati, OH and Frankfurt, Germany that leads the development of innovative Smart & Connected products across the breadth of P&G business categories. Our work serves the needs of multiple business categories in order to drive outstanding consumer experiences and create competitive advantage.
Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:  
We seek an experienced problem solver having multidisciplinary skills, such as the following:  
• MS in Computer Science (or BS in Computer Science with 3 years of industry 
  experience) with embedded hardware and firmware development, OR
• MS in Electrical Engineering (or BS in Electrical Engineering with 3 years industry
  experience), with emphasis on firmware development. Some board level design  
  experience is preferred, OR
• MS in Mechanical Engineering (or BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years industry
  experience), with experience in designing IOT-like devices using multiple design 
  disciplines. Some board level design and firmware experience are preferred.  
In addition, the candidate will have the following qualities:  
• General working experience and technical knowledge among some of: electronics,
  mechanics, sensors, system integration and applied artificial intelligence (machine
  learning)
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills (both oral and
  written)
• Entrepreneurship/Ownership to drive projects from concept to prototypes and
   possible small-scale launch
• Able to quickly learn, adopt, and integrate new technologies as they emerge
