Full-time (1.0 FTE) beginning the 2020-2021 school year
JOB DUTIES:
High school science instructor desired for the 2020-2021 school year to fill an opening created by a staff leave. Potential exists for the position to continue beyond the 2020-2021 school year.
Sauk Rapids-Rice High School is seeking a talented and enthusiastic instructor who has abilities or interests in secondary science classes. Course schedule could include 9th grade Introduction to Physics and Introduction to Chemistry, 10th grade Biology, with the potential of other courses within the department. Position may also include sections of 10th grade intervention and remedial support. Actual assignment will be dependent on successful candidate’s strengths and experience as well as department needs.
Skills desired include strong communication, classroom management, and organization. Extra-curricular positions, including head coaching positions, are also available in conjunction with this position and experience or interest in these positions is appreciated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Minnesota secondary licensure in 7 – 12 Physical Science or ability to obtain license through the tiered licensure system. Preference given to candidates who have licensure in both Physical and Life Science.
SALARY:
Based on the Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Association Master Agreement.
