The Real Estate Division of the US Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District is currently hiring up to six Realty Specialists to join the Management and Disposal Branch in Rock Island, Illinois.
 
We are looking for talented candidates who combine strong problem-solving and analytic skills with superior writing abilities to help us manage a real estate portfolio valued at over $2 billion. Highly qualified candidates will:
 
·        feel comfortable going into the field to inspect real estate assets;
·        interact with internal and external constituencies in a professional and courteous manner;
·        apply problem-solving and analytic skills to the reading and drafting of real estate instruments in accordance with applicable regulations;
·        articulate reasoning behind recommendations for solution sets based on sound application of regulatory and policy guidelines;
·        exhibit robust time-management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities;
·        demonstrate consistent attention to detail in all work products, including analysis of applicable regulations to particular circumstances, written reports, real estate instruments, and correspondence; and
·        possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university.

·        Alternate Work Schedules – Our employees may fulfill their 80-hour biweekly work schedule through flexible scheduling (with supervisor approval).
·        Advanced Education – USACE employees who meet eligibility requirements may compete for tuition assistance to further their education through the Acquisition Tuition Assistance Program.
·        Federal Student Loan Assistance – USACE employees who meet eligibility requirements may apply for up to $10,000 towards repayment of federally insured student loans through the Army Acquisition Civilian Student Loan Repayment Program.
