Origination Analyst
sPower, a leading renewable energy developer and independent power producer, is currently seeking a highly motivated Analyst to work with the origination team in the Salt Lake City, UT office. The ideal candidate will research renewable policy, create power marketing proposals, and assist with project financial analysis and modeling. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the renewable energy industry to help us contribute to the fast-paced growth of our company.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Research and analyze demand in various markets
· Identify potential customers and marketing opportunities
· Generate power marketing value proposition and analytical toolkits
· Assist in project financial modeling
· Assist in contract negotiations
· Update and maintain Salesforce database
Desired Experience and Skills:
· Strong interest in sustainable technology and renewable energy
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· High attention to detail, and exceptional organization skills
· Strong research and writing skills
· Ability to address complex issues, and come up with creative solutions
· Strong work ethic and ability to see projects through the finish line
· Quick learner, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
· 1-3 years of experience in a related industry
Education:
· BS/BA with Major in business, economics, engineering, environmental studies, or other related field
