Education Global Trainee

We are looking for Global Talent Trainees who are passionate about building Ed-Tech products. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-border teams to design, build and roll-out the product of the dual-teacher system that delivers TAL’s vision and strategy.
What You Will Do:
Join TAL's first team to enter the U.S. education market and fully commit to this start-up business, building from 0 to 1; prepare and get trained to become a core business leader for TAL in the future.
Improve student learning gains by teaching them in person, tracking students' performance by using LMS and positively communicating with parents.

Join one of the major business units based on your interests and background, to experience different job rotations, including Curriculum Development, Teaching Administration, Marketing & Operation, Product Design.

You will be assigned to very experienced mentors who will directly help you and foster your growth. Detailed functions include but not limited to: Curriculum Development: Research on the local education system and carry out systematical curriculum development based on user needs; Deliver teaching and class materials and iterate curriculum design according to user feedback; coordinate with a curriculum development team based in China;

Teaching Management: identify the strengths of two countries' education system and design how to contextualize them throughout the teaching process; manage and improve the teaching quality consistently, including organizing regular and effective teacher training, and exchange experiences with China's teaching training program ; Coordinate with other teams including Curriculum Development and Product Management to provide better learning experience to students and better teaching experience to teachers

Market and Operation: Design creative events through online and offline market channels for targeted users; establish high-quality communities to attract more users and enhance the awareness of Chinese education brands overseas and customer satisfaction;

Product Design: Implement developed Ed-tech products in the U.S., and optimize or redesign the product according to the local needs and user feedback data; connect and coordinate with the Chinese product management team; Long-term and on-going research on the US education market and system and keep track of related information; regularly generate a strategic plan with the team.


Qualifications

- Super passionate about education industry, with a mission to provide better education to promote social development; willing to bridge and connect the quality education resources across countries, and to explore ways to put advanced education technology into the teaching scene.

- All-around talents who are down-to-earth yet with their eyes on the big picture: undertake teaching responsibilities with passion, interact with children and build trust with parents; and also perform full-time position well based on your track (including Curriculum Development, Teaching Administration, Marketing & Operation, Product Design); focus on the long-term development of long-term individuals and platforms.

- Excellent English communication and expression skills; love helping others; quickly learn new things and transfer knowledge into practice.

- Willing to join the entrepreneurial team and explore how to build from 0 to 1; Strong resistance to pressure, strong initiatives, and daring to overcome difficulties; willing to take on more responsibilities and have confidence in becoming a certain business leader for TAL in the future.

- Bachelor’s degree or above (open to all majors), the world's top universities and STEM major graduates are preferred.
Self-starter with ability to work well independently and in groups.
Proficient in Mandarin and English
