Business and Financial Analyst

Position: Financial Analyst
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Reports to: Director of Analytics
FLSA Status: Exempt

Mission:
The core mission of the Financial Analyst is to provide support to both the Director of Analytics and CEO. The Financial Analyst will be expected to multitask between finance, operations and client facing business development. The underwriting process and financial concepts that make an opportunity commercially viable are technical, and therefore critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of disciplined team is critically important. 

Accountabilities:
1.   Analyze individual universal life insurance policies and portfolios of life insurance policies for potential transactions on behalf of individual and institutional investors in the life settlement industry
2.   Producing, distributing, and presenting reports to clients and the CEO multiple times a week
3.   Meet with the CEO on a regular basis to develop strategies on each potential transaction to identify the best course of action and appropriate capital source
4.   To continuously build skillset in order to improve internal models
5.   Build training materials and an overall development plan for the Analytics team within first 3 months

·      Knowledge of financial principles (DCF/NPV calculations, etc.)

·      Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
