App Developer (w/focus on Gaming)
OpptIn is creating a safer, quicker, and more interactive online world for everyone. Through our proximity-based technology, we can equip any business or venue with the infrastructure for its own personal and encrypted network. We aim to create a secure, simple way for people to network, find potential jobs, improve school efficiency, and even provide quicker access to life-saving medical test results.
OpptIn is searching for potential team members with the following experience in coding, and design for Fall 2020. Any schedule works, but must be able to attend meetings that are given adequate notice for.
We do offer academic credit for this position, and we work with students on a case-by-case basis to make sure they fulfill all requirements as per requested by the given university. As well, you will receive individual feedback throughout the course of the internship, both in informal reviews as well as daily meetings to check progress and provide guidance.
If an intern wishes to extend their term of involvement with OpptIn in order to acquire more experience, that may be possible upon their performance review.

Requirements:
- Experience with User Interface and User Experience design for desktop and mobile UIs
- Experience with graphic design
- Ability to design assets for mobile and desktop UIs
- Photoshop experience preferred
- Attend meetings remotely or in-person
- Maintain presence within the group even after Proof of Concept and Alpha completion
General Responsibilities:
- Attend regular meetings with team members, whether online or in-person
- Complete all tasks assigned to you on time
- Be able to work in a group with others
- Update the rest of the team on your progress via discord, and update the tasks you’ve accomplished on Trello
- Attend virtual meetings on Zoom
