Variable Annuity Principal Trainee

We provide on-the-job training to obtain the necessary licenses required to provide direction, service and support for registered representative and members of MWA Financial Services, Inc. (MWAFS) by determining if a transaction is in the best interest of the client related to variable annuity transactions.
Starting salary will depend on your qualifications and experience.
What would you be doing?
- Support registered representatives and members by answering calls, researching questions or concerns, drafting letters to members and training representatives on product related questions.
- Principal and review all incoming applications on a daily basis, including follow-up on all pending applications that require further paperwork and or documentation, updating systems and records as required.
- Process and track withdrawals, surrenders, transfer outs, exchanges and internal transfer requests on a daily basis.
- Notify Registered Representatives when transfer, surrender, etc. paperwork is received and follow up with the representative and/or members regarding Modern Woodmen penalties and tax consequences.
- Provide trade desk services for Registered Representatives and members with variable annuity certificates.
- Develop, prepare and review a variety of periodic reports, making recommendations for changes and improvements.
- Assist MWAFS Marketing in making outbound calls to agents to promote sales of Variable Annuity products.
- Assist in developing, maintaining and updating procedures.
What do we expect from you?
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to pass FINRA Series 6 and 26 exams within 6 months of hire. We provide time to study during work hours to help you achieve this goal.
