Patient Flow Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Flow Manager oversees and coordinates admission decisions and patient care activities throughout the hospital on the assigned shift. The Patient Flow Manager has oversight of day to day hospital operations in collaboration with nursing leadership and executive leaders, when necessary. Collaborative oversight of the hospital's bed capacity and placement, working closely with bed management, transfer center, and leadership to maximize bed capacity. Management of day to day and future staffing and scheduling with assistance from the central scheduling office to efficiently manage resources. Leverages NL-EMMC patient flow technology and data to ensure appropriate patient placement.
