Optometry Internship

Work alongside Motivational Speaker Nancy Solari who assists the visually impaired with overcoming the challenges, stress and required adjustments that come with vision loss.

 

Projects will include:                     

-Researching various eye conditions

-Exploring various treatments, surgeries and homeopathic remedies for various conditions

-Identify stress relieving exercises for the eyes

-Call and email doctors, specialists regarding cures, clinical trials and any low vision aids to assist the visually i,mpaired

-This intern will report directly to Nancy Solari and at times work with various clients.

 

Training will involve in-depth research on how to locate doctors, treatments, or support related to various eye conditions. Candidate will be researching both Eastern and Western medicine and will learn the difference between the different methods. Intern will be trained on how to read scripts and professionally outreach to doctor offices and companies that have products or services related to optometry.

                                     

The length of this internship is twenty weeks. The company has offices in Huntington Beach, CA but the internship is structured so that the candidate is able to work remotely. If the candidate is local, they can contribute to the show in person in the studio.

Skills should include: Ability to work independently and with a team, effective organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, driven and goal oriented, excellent English verbal and written skills, leadership skills are a plus.
