This contract to hire role will prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve SQL database related issues. The right person will have strong troubleshooting capabilities as well. Responsibilities:
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for one week every four weeks
- Respond to SQL database related tickets
- Prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
- Design, develop, test, and maintain database solutions
- Tune data warehouse and other database systems for optimal performance and reliability
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a SQL DBA
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to resolve issues with SSIS and/or T-SQL
- Intermediate knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, MS SQL Server 2008 R2 2016, networking concepts, and database design and development
