Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

Centralized Healthcare Solutions (CHS) is an innovative and exciting new business based out of the College of Pharmacy. CHS uses telehealth technology to connect pharmacists with patients who need help to monitor chronic conditions and improve overall health. 

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative marketing intern with a proficiency in social media and on-line marketing to join our team. The applicant should possess a strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, and be able to work across various social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

Knowledge of basic graphic skills and web-design is preferred.  The social media & marketing coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and posting on social media and blogs, contributing to website content and design, and participating in online outreach and promotion. Students looking to gain valuable online media experience working with an innovative team are encouraged to apply. 

Responsibilities include:
·       Coordinate platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Calendly to promote CHS
·       Research target audience, discover and stay up to date with current trends to implement relevant strategies
·       Work with graphic design platforms such as Canva, Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop to create engaging text, social media posts, videos and website content
·       Develop optimal posting schedule
·       Research/acquire knowledge of healthcare related news to create planned weekly posts for CHS social media.
·       Create publicity and promotions including flyers for marketing
·       Work with website platforms such as Square Space and WordPress to directly manage and update the CHS website; website development; re-design and implementation of new ideas. 
·       Attend weekly staff meetings and drafting a monthly social media marketing plan. 
Key Metrics Include:
Growth – Followers on key social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn/Twitter
Engagement – Likes, comments, shares, and community interactions. 
Conversions – Email signups, program registrations, and link click.
Qualifications: 3rd or 4th year marketing student, excellent interpersonal skills, strong writing skills, interest in social media, marketing, website management and ability to work independently.

·     Gain confidence in leadership and communication skills by participating in weekly staff meetings and drafting a monthly social media marketing plan.
