We’re looking for a Content Writer to produce engaging articles about education, college admissions, and tips on adjusting to remote learning and life amid the Coronavirus pandemic. You will work with other writers, educational consultants, and our content publishing team to produce informative articles and guides for families and students. You’ll help educate our audience on what it takes to be a competitive applicant in today’s complicated college application process.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Interns will learn how to:
- write informative, education-related copy that resonates with online audiences
- write with an understanding of best SEO practices
- market to high-network individuals
- work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- research trends in the field of education
REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility
Interns must:
- have exceptional verbal and written communication skills (prior copy writing skills is a plus)
- have a passion for higher education
- have a strong interest in learning about SEO and digital marketing
- be knowledgeable about the college application process for elite universities
- be motivated, organized, and willing to evolve as the role evolves
- be college students enrolled in a program related to Journalism, Creative Writing, and Communication
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite (WordPress and Adobe Photoshop are pluses)
- Research skills
Experience
- No previous full-time work experience is required!
