AVP - Digital Platforms Development Lead
The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
The Enterprise Technology Solutions Digital Team is looking for an innovative, self-motivated individual who is passionate about applying emerging technologies to solve complex business challenges. The successful candidate will drive the design and delivery of development platforms in the growing ETS Digital portfolio as well as lead the implementation of these solutions across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with users, clients, vendors and other technology teams to build, integrate, support and enhance Digital platforms and use cases.
  • Utilize specialized, cross-functional technical knowledge to interpret complex issues and implement solutions.
  • Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on Digital platforms to ensure adherence to architecture standards.
  • Manage all aspect of projects to completion across the SDLC.
  • Work with clients to onboard and improve development tools and processes, maintaining this information in a knowledge base.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years and proficient in JavaScript, C#, Python, bash (one or more)
  • 3+ years experience with Machine Learning and NLP
  • 3+ years experience working with multiple technologies and frameworks in medium to complex systems
  • 3+ years experience building and integrating web applications
  • 3+ years experience in managing multiple ongoing agile projects Previous experience with AI, Machine Learning, Chatbots, NLP or other emerging technologies preferred
  • Experience working with REST APIs preferred
  • Experience with Linux system administration preferred
  • Experience with SQL and/or MongoDB preferred
  • Experience with development tools such as git, RLM, JIRA preferred
  • BI and Visualization experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to articulate technical concepts to a business audience
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a globally distributed team with limited oversight
  • Self-starter who is a quick learner of new tools and technologies
Education:
  • B.S. in Computer Science/Information Technoloyg/Engineering or equivalent work experience
