Social Worker (Clinical, Master, or Master CC)

Our Waterville region has a great position for a medical social worker wanting to make a positive difference in someone's life! You would be responsible for functioning as a member of an inter-disciplinary team and providing services that are necessary to resolve social and emotional problems that are or are expected to be an impediment to the effective treatment of the ;atient's medical condition or rate of recovery. Utilizing the latest information technologies and telecommunication systems, we provide you with a variety of social work experiences, ranging from caring for pediatric and adult patients with medical/surgical needs as well as caring for patients with hospice and palliative care needs. In addition you would play an integral role in collaborating with other members of the patient care team.

Master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
One year clinical experience as a social worker in a healthcare setting
Current ME license to practice as alicensed master social worker, a licensed master social worker-conditionalor licensed clinical social worker
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
Computer competency and evidence of effective communication skills, using verbal, written and telephonic means; ability to make decisions regarding priority of work, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to understand specific instructions
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and agency required auto liability insurance.
Ability to travel in assigned service area.
