Electrical Engineer

This Job is with Viper Design, a robotics company, located in Goodlettsville, TN.

We are seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer to begin immediately. Duties listed below:
  1. Soldering
  2. through hole components
  3. surface mount components
  4. Have experience in reading schematics
  5. Basic understanding of circuit components
                                                              i.     Resistors
                                                            ii.     Capacitors
                                                          iii.     Integrated circuits
  1. Design basic circuitry and draft sketches to clarify details of design documentation, under engineers' direction
  2. Build prototypes from rough sketches or plans
  3. Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics
  4. Adjust and replace defective circuitry and electronic components
 
Duties will include:
             Working with Engineers on Designs
             Modifying boards
             Building boards (smt)
             Building harnesses, custom headers and connectors
             Documenting work
             Keeping organized work environment
             Being in charge of the lab
             Order components required for boards
             Learn layout software like Altium Designer
Hands on training/explanations will be provided; tasks will be assign to better understand system
             Testing, including Electronic components, assemblies and full products
