Guidance Consultant (Clinical EAP Intake & Triage)
Guidance Consultants provide support to diverse global EAP clients on behavioral, emotional health, family, and wellness related issues. Primary Responsibilities
- Telephonically address client concerns by conducting clinical intake assessments and referring clients to the appropriate resources
- Provide crisis stabilization to at-risk clients
- Using critical thinking and problem solving skills, quickly resolve issues and identify resources to ensure a positive client experience and complete satisfaction
- Educate clients about resources, eligibility, and services with a positive and professional approach
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of cases within our proprietary database
Job Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology required
- Exceptional communication skills, with strong focus on customer service
- Quick thinking, high energy, positive, and professional, with demonstrated multi-tasking and critical thinking skills
- Clinical assessment experience in the following areas: mental health, chemical dependency, and crisis stabilization
- Must work in office (currently working remote due to COVID)
