The Greene County CSD located just 45 miles west of Ames on highway 30, is seeking applicants for middle school special education positions. Candidates should possess or be eligible to receive appropriate licensure in Iowa. Greene County schools are located in Jefferson, Iowa, a town of 4400 with a growing and diverse economic base. Plentiful outdoor recreational activities abound in a clean and safe community. Jefferson is less than an hour west of the central Iowa corridor which includes Ames - home of Iowa State University - and the Des Moines metro. Greene County will be moving into a remodeled facility at the 5-8 level this fall - something we're all excited about!
