Business Development Rep

Business Development Representative​ - Suffolk County, NY

What you will do:
As our new Business Development Representative, you will get a key role in our rapidly growing US organization. You will be responsible together with our group of salespeople to generate new business for our US entity, ChemoMetec Inc., You will be working closely with our Senior Sales Manager in the US and it is your job to make sure that the sales department can concentrate on selling instruments while you provide the leads they need to do so.
Responsibilities:
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
  • Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management.
  • Works with the sales team on developing lead engagement tactics.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience with prospecting for leads.
  • 1+ year relevant experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience using a CRM. We use ZOHO and must be able to keep proper, timely notes on your prospects. Skills with MS office, excel, word, power point.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Be willing to be coached and properly trained.
  • Possess time management skills, using CRM to plan your days/week with tasks and calendar.
  • Self-motivated to work and succeed, while our sales manager will see and track your overall efforts, we are not babysitting your daily efforts.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Prospecting through Sales Navigator (Preferred, not required)
