Position Overview:
The Operations Associate is an excellent role for someone who is looking to begin their career at a fast-moving startup and learn the ins and outs of operations. This role will work across fulfillment, merchandising and private label sourcing teams and will be instrumental in helping customers get the products they want at the right time. No fishing experience required, but free bass fishing lessons can be provided!
What you will do:
- Support our Mystery Tackle Box subscription and Karl’s ecommerce businesses by completing operational tasks, including:
- Keeping us in stock by owning the purchase order process, vendor KPI process and inventory management between warehouses
- Owning our samples process and capturing specs such as weight and dimensions to reduce rework
- Partnering with our warehouses to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of kit builds
- Analyzing inventory accuracy across all tiers of products
- Creating a better customer experience through sourcing the right printed materials for our business
- Support our retail B2B business, including:
- Owning the flow of purchase order data from retailers into our own systems
- Ensuring the correct inventory gets reserved or allocated
- Helping to manage overseas freight shipments
- Work with team members throughout the company on special projects that involve operations

Requirements
What experience you need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Plans, organizes, schedules and budgets in an efficient, productive manner. Focuses on key priorities.
- Demonstrates high attention to detail, does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.
- Excellent communication skills - speaks and writes clearly and articulately.
- Demonstrates tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done.
- Able to use pre-existing or low-effort solutions to solve new problems.
