Business Analyst will work be an integral team member supporting a large financial institution in Des Moines, IA.
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Manage new business applications as required to gather and review information for a case to ensure all information is reasonable, complete and accurate.
- Facilitate the processing of new business cases, including application readiness. Review the application package for completeness and accurately analyze available information.
- Identify potential problems and take appropriate action. Validate producer state licensing, contracting, and appointment. Ensure documents received are compliant to state regulations. Request and provide additional information to external business customers that will help the application move through the process with ease. Request medical information from vendors as appropriate.
- Communicate customer feedback to team and leaders to help improve overall customer experience
- Research and implement state and federal regulations/compliance issues and their impacts on business processes.
Business Analyst Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent plus 2-4 years’ work experience required. Requires good organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
- Must demonstrate an ability to consider both big picture concerns and day-to-day activities when prioritizing work.
- Must have PC experience and a strong understanding of business unit processes/systems. Must be able to multi-task and to manage deadlines.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, be an effective team member, and a positive influence within the organization. Must have ability to shift focus between distribution channels, as well as between formal and informal business to meet business needs.
- Must have proven written and oral skills. Must have an ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
