Human Resource Generalist

We are looking for a Human Resource Generalist to join our Human Resource Team. The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for assisting the Human Resource Manager with administration of policies, procedures and programs. This position is dedicated to increasing awareness and opening lines of communication with current and potential employees. This posting will close Friday, July 10th. 
 WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Carry out recruiting efforts to ensure the hiring of qualified personnel in a timely manner by creating job postings, screening and identifying qualified candidates based on individual position requirements
  • Coordinate intern and practicum students as necessary
  • Complete onboarding process for new employees
  • Communicate and coordinate with area employment agencies when temp employees are required
  • Assist with employee relation activities such as holiday events, wellness and fun morale building activities
  WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 
  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred and/or equivalent experience
  • At least two years related experience required
  • SHRM-CP credential preferred
  • A valid driver's license with a driving record that will allow insurability
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical with a drug and alcohol screen
