Reliability Analyst

We're looking for talented and highly motivated reliability specialists to join our team. You’ll execute manual testing scripts and design and execute exploratory testing plans to ensure the reliability & scalability of our digital advice platform. WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Staffed on the Reliability team, you will be charged with becoming an expert in software quality and risk mitigation strategy Design & execute manual software tests after each software deployment
  • Learn the detailed functionality of a broad array of end-user and internal features
  • Gain knowledge of the entire system and recognize pain points and gaps in test coverage 
  • Work with designers, developers & product managers to deliver high quality software
  • Work with Technical Leads to triage reported software defects 
  • Communicate with various stakeholders about the status of critical defects
  • Engage at varying levels of technical detail depending on the audience
  • Define metrics and processes that can be used to validate projects are ready to be released 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in manual software testing.
  • You are skilled in bridging the communication gap between teams, contributors and leadership within a larger organizational ecosystem
  • You are a creative and proactive problem solver and feel comfortable proposing multiple solutions to a variety of issues in a real-world environment
  • You are highly organized and are known for driving projects from start to finish
  • You break down complex problems into concrete deliverables
  • You bring order to a system characterized by disorder
  • You value iterative progress over perfection
  • You have a desire to learn the underlying workings of a system
  • You persevere through challenging obstacles to meet your goals
  • You are comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with a high level of uncertainty
  • You are self-motivated and have experience maintaining your workflow independently 
  • You are enthusiastic about the details of how different parts of a complex software system fit together, and becoming an expert in those details
