We are looking for an entry-level engineer to assist with a diversity of technically challenging, ground-breaking projects across multiple markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a Staff Geotechnical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and technically challenging projects! You will be responsible for several field aspects of our geotechnical services, such as field exploration and earthwork construction monitoring. You can expect to spend a significant portion of your time in the field on projects, both big and small, allowing you to develop a broad understanding of soil conditions and construction related issues as they relate to geotechnical engineering. You will also be involved in report writing activities and performing geotechnical analyses, such as slope stability and seismic analyses. This position will require 20-40% regional and national travel.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil or Geological Engineering required; MS degree in Geotechnical Engineering strongly preferred
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification
- Valid driver's license
- Strong field orientation
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Ability to successfully work within a team
- Professional-level verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically
