Sr. Application Consultant: Demand Planning and Inventory Planning

Adexa is looking to hire world class Supply Chain Planning Sr. Consultants with expertise in the areas of Demand Planning and Inventory Planning. The candidate will be the Sr Consulting person on projects that are implementing Adexa’s Predictive Analytics – Demand Planning and Inventory Planning modules. These modules provide advanced capability to our clients in the use of Statistical Methods, AI and Machine Learning, as well as collaboration, advanced analytics, dashboards and reporting. The consultant is responsible to enable clients to achieve a best in class Demand and Inventory Planning process.

Support all project related activities in creating world class solutions enabling customers to achieve business objectives. This includes complete involvement in solution design sessions and then taking the lead role in implementing the functional and supporting technical aspects of the solution. On-going specific day-to-day activities might involve design, prototype development, application configuration/integration, conference room pilots, documentation, testing, and training. In executing these tasks, the Senior Consultant must be able to utilize personal experience, knowledge of industry best practices to influence your clients during application implementation.

Ensure customer is educated on Adexa solution offerings, be prepared to articulate how solution would best fit into our client’s business environment using experiences gained from other engagements in the areas of demand planning, supply and inventory planning. The Senior Consultant will work be the key person to make the solution is complete so that it can meet the agreed to business goals and process.

Senior Consultant must have more than 3 years of experience Demand Planning / Inventory Planning software through practical hands-on experience. Previous work implementing Demand Planning and Inventory Planning software is required. Must be willing to travel 50%+ and assume the responsibilities of technical lead for an implementation. Must have understanding/experience of business processes in key manufacturing and distribution related industries. Strong technical skills with data integration (MS SQL Server, MS Analysis Services a big plus). Experience with statistical forecasting is desired, and Machine Learning experience is a big plus. Industry and business process experience gained through industry or implementation is needed. Role requires effective communication skills in terms of both verbal presentation of material, ability to articulate the proposed/agreed solution, and in listening to customer feedback and translating that into professional response/action plans. Finally, must have motivation, ingenuity, and confidence to succeed in this demanding industry.

BS/MS in Operations Research, Applied Math, MIS, CS, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, and/or related fields.
