Title: Jr. AWS Engineer/Developer /Admin
Location: San Ramon, CA // San Diego, CA
Duration: FTE // Long Term Contract
This role will be working in AWS Developer responsible for developing, debugging and deploying data assets. They will be using various AWS service APIs, AWS CLI, CI/CD pipelines. They will be working on migrating data feeds from external sources, into NW AWS data lake, using our standards and security procedures. They will also be responsible for design, developing data schema to meet the business requirements.
Required Skills/Experience
- 1+ years of developing experience and 1+ years of experience in the Amazon Cloud Environment AWS (S3, EMR, AWS Glue, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, Data Lake, etc.) AWS certification a plus.
- Should having knowledge into AWS X-Ray.
- Ability to output the results in several formats (JSON, data feeds, reports, etc.).
- Ability to perform data manipulations, load, extract from several sources of data into another schema.
- Understanding of core AWS services, and basic AWS architecture best practices.
- Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based data assets.
- Proficiency in SQL, understanding various databases(Aurora, DynamoDB) and ability to design schemas to meet the requirements.
