Registered Nurse - Children's Specialty Hospital

**$5,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time (36+ Hours / week)

**$2,500 Sign-On Bonus for Part-Time (20 - 35 Hours / week)


What is a ‘Specialty Hospital’? It is a hospital that provides a very specific set of health services. The LifeScape Specialty Hospital is very unique. We provide exceptional healthcare to children that are affected by a disability. Our rare facility is mainly staffed with nurses, nursing assistants and therapists. All of these positions are of extreme importance, but our nurses have a very special role with the organization, our patients, their families, and the outstanding multi-disciplinary team they work with. We are currently adding Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN Registered Nurses to our terrific LifeScape team in the Specialty Hospital.

This position is responsible to assess the health status of children supported within the LifeScape Specialty Hospital.

Some of the tasks Registered Nurses complete include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Analyzes clinical information
  • Provides Respiratory care/support
  • Serves as the primary nurse within a specific unit
  • Administers medications/Enteral feedings
  • Educates staff, families, patients, students, and persons supported
  • Promotes health and safety
  • Completes many other exciting tasks

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required. Valid South Dakota RN Licensure required. Prior nursing and/or direct care experience preferred.
