We are looking for a motivated hydrogeologist to join our team. We are talented, trustworthy and skilled people who are passionate about what we do and enjoy providing personalized attention to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Phase I / Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and field/office work related to soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor sampling.
  • Remediation planning and oversight
  • Assist senior staff in the development of sampling plans, reports, designs, specifications, and analysis required for projects
  • Preparation of specifications, process study, research investigations, and report preparation
  • Interface with clients in providing or obtaining data or relating project information.
  • Develop and maintain familiarity with current federal and state regulations and guidance

 Qualifications
  • Bachelor's (master's degree a plus) in environmental science, geology/hydrogeology, physical sciences, civil engineering, environmental engineering or in a similar field with appropriate experience of 0-5 years
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required
  • Professional license (GIT/PG or EIT/PE) preferred; ability to obtain within 2 years of service
  • Ability to use maps and other visual methods to describe and record hydrogeological data
  • Efficient time utilization
  • Ability to work in the field year-round as needed
  • Strong mathematical, engineering, scientific and technical skills
  • Ability to tabulate data and utilize spreadsheets
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills needed
  • Practical, logical and a good problem-solver
  • Lead and Asbestos Inspector Certification preferred
  • Experience with Wisconsin DNR and Illinois EPA regulations a plus
