Grant Writer for Sign Language Translation

Grant Writer for Sign Language Translation

When you write, people pay attention. Use your skills to help people pay attention to the needs of unreached people groups still waiting for a Bible translation.

As a SUPPORTED* Grant Writer for sign language Bible translation projects, you will enable projects to move forward around the world.

Today, over 2000 people groups, 150 million people, still don’t have the Bible translated into their languages! Wycliffe USA believes the Word of God can transform lives when people hear it in their own language or form, and we urgently need you to join the team!

Job Location: remote (can be completed from anywhere)

If you want to work overseas, Wycliffe USA has many open positions located in Africa, Asia, Europe, Americas, and the Pacific! Regardless of where you locate, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States as per U.S. employment laws.

Every day is interesting! One day you might research funding sources and proposal requirements. Later you could assist programs with determining goals and objectives, write, edit and proofread proposals, and coordinate proposal assembly. Another day you would track proposal status.

This job might be for you if…
  • You demonstrate the desire and ability to support corporate Biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work-related spiritual activities without reservation (Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification)
  • You have earned a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • You are a great written communicator.
  • You are detail oriented and organized.

It’s a bonus if…
  • You have previous experience writing grants.
