Editorial & Content Writer Intern (REMOTE)
Editorial & Content Writer Internship Description:
We are recruiting a Editorial & Content Writer intern looking to gain valuable work experience with an emerging brand: WESTxEAST. You will work closely with the Co-Founders and learn from their creative direction and overall business operations. It’s an opportunity to enhance your portfolio and gain hands on experience with a fashion start-up. WESTxEAST was recently featured in Brides Today India, BRIDES and Over The Moon by Vogue.
Position Requirements:
- Pursuing Journalism or Communications
- Excellent creative writer and storyteller
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inform and entertain via written, oral and visual media
- An innovative self-starter with problem solving skills, creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic
- Detailed oriented
- Interested in working with a fashion startup
Job Duties and Tasks Include but are NOT limited to:
- Develop, research & manage database of clients, industry contacts, & press for CRM efforts
- Manage written communication: press, brand identity & social media
- Build relationships with or Magazine editors, bloggers and PR agencies
- Create Press Releases
- Pitch to publications
- Coordinate all inquiries and communication between brand and fashion insiders
- Coordinate written communication for Co-founders branding purposes as the faces of the brand

Must commit 15 hours per week
Must have a laptop
